Another of my early Mindery entries was Zoom. Many people use Zoom's free plan, but I had been paying for it since the pandemic--a time period that catapulted Zoom into the consciousness of everyone. My cancellation experience with Zoom was the polar opposite of their reputation of the up-and-coming collaboration enabler. In fact, it reminded me of the torture involved with trying to cancel Cable TV back in the bad old days.

One of my first Mindery entries was WP Engine, a premium Wordpress blog hosting platform I have been subscribed to for seven(!!) years--despite the projects hosted there being long-dormant. Founder Jason Cohen is a hero in the SaaS startup world, and WP Engine is truly a best-in-class service. My cancellation experience with WP Engine was more dramatic than I expected, but in the end, they remained true to their best-in-class heritage.

Mindery helps people keep track of important events for which they want reminders. Our first use case is subscriptions, such as streaming subscriptions. Most people save money just by signing up for Mindery, because that process makes them remember (and cancel) a bunch of subscriptions they have forgotten about.
